About the Role

Menlo Security is building and operating its Infrastructure Platform on a cloud-native environment using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and VMs. As a Senior Engineer, you will join a globally distributed team managing infrastructure as code with Terraform and Spacelift, emphasizing security-first design and multi-region resilience.

Outcomes & KPIs

• Maintain 99.9%+ infrastructure uptime across GCP and AWS regions.
• Reduce operational toil through automation and IaC practices.
• Provide comprehensive observability for accelerated incident resolution (MTTD/MTTR).

Your Responsibilities

• Implement, deploy, and maintain VM/Kubernetes infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments in multiple regions.
• Build IaC using Terraform modules to provision networking, compute, storage, and security components.
• Maintain observability solutions (Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir) including dashboards and alerting rules.
• Manage certificate lifecycle, DNS automation, ingress controllers, and service mesh with Cilium.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Security teams for capacity planning and architectural decisions.
• Automate workflows by writing scripts, building CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI-assisted coding tools.
