Constant Contact is seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven Senior Digital Optimization Analyst to join their team in Canada. This role focuses on enhancing the company's digital presence and improving marketing effectiveness across various channels by meticulously analyzing website behavior and user experience.
Key responsibilities include driving analysis of website performance, user journeys, and core funnel metrics such as traffic, engagement, conversion, and retention. The analyst will evaluate landing page performance to identify optimization opportunities for improved conversion rates (CVR) and engagement. Ongoing audits of website tagging, tracking, page load times, and user behavior patterns are crucial. Collaboration with UX designers and product teams to inform roadmap priorities with data-driven insights is expected. Development and management of a continuous testing program (A/B, multivariate, landing page tests) in partnership with the site experience team will be a core function. This includes creating hypotheses, prioritizing tests based on impact, building experiments, and analyzing results to refine conversion funnels and reduce user friction. The role involves partnering with developers and marketing teams for the implementation and validation of CRO experiments, and maintaining a centralized repository of test results and learnings to foster institutional knowledge. Close collaboration with MarTech and engineering teams is necessary to ensure accurate setup of tracking pixels, events, and user pathways. Monitoring the impact of cookie consent mechanisms and privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA) on data integrity and tracking accuracy is also a key aspect. The analyst will act as a power user and manage requirements for analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Tealium, ensuring data consistency across reporting systems and troubleshooting discrepancies. Defining necessary data structures and frameworks to answer key business questions and partnering with platform/engineering teams to build them will be required. Building clear, compelling reports and presentations to highlight insights, trends, and recommended actions, and presenting performance updates to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership are essential duties. The role requires close partnership with marketing managers, product teams, designers, and engineering to develop insight-driven solutions, and providing data-backed input to website strategy, SEO improvements, and messaging decisions. The analyst will also support broader marketing strategy by analyzing the website-specific impact of campaigns and channel traffic.
