Role Focus: As a Senior Digital Assortment Manager for the EMEA region, you will be instrumental in driving growth by developing and implementing assortment expansion strategies for Rithum's key clients. You will collaborate closely with client merchants and e-commerce teams to identify third-party assortment opportunities and create actionable plans that boost profitable GMV. This role also involves expanding and strengthening the Rithum network within EMEA by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new brands and suppliers to meet retailer demands and support regional expansion.
Responsibilities
Assortment Strategy & Client Growth
- Develop and execute assortment expansion strategies to drive revenue growth for Rithum and its clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing engagement objectives and delivering quantifiable results.
- Analyze performance, market trends, and category opportunities to inform assortment recommendations.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable plans that optimize assortments and meet client demands.
- Partner with Sales, Client Partnerships, and Marketing teams on merchandising strategies and client presentations.
Network Expansion & Partner Development (EMEA)
- Build and scale a robust network of brands and suppliers across EMEA to fulfill retailer demand and achieve growth targets.
- Identify and onboard new partners through proactive outreach, leveraging retailer demand signals, marketing campaigns, and partner ecosystems.
- Utilize data and AI-enabled tools to prioritize outreach efforts and target high-potential partners.
- Develop and manage outreach cadences to ensure a consistent pipeline of new network participants.
- Establish and optimize scalable processes for partner qualification, onboarding, and activation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on target accounts, campaigns, and growth priorities.
- Build and manage relationships with integrators and external partners to extend network reach.
- Track progress against network growth objectives, including onboarding, activation, and GMV contribution.
Analytics, AI & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Leverage analytics and AI-enabled tools to accelerate insight generation, identify patterns, and enhance decision-making.
- Utilize internal and external data sources to generate insights that inform both assortment and network strategies.
- Partner with Product and Business Intelligence teams as a subject matter expert to guide the development of analytics and AI-driven tools.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and scale impact through AI and repeatable processes.
- Collaborate across teams to share insights, refine processes, and ensure consistent execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of client-facing experience in a professional setting, focusing on building and managing commercial relationships with brands and suppliers.
- 2–3 years of e-commerce experience in merchandising, wholesale, or retail buying/planning, with a track record of managing commercial relationships and negotiating terms.
- Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outreach and manage partner engagement processes.
- Experience in marketplace operations, supplier acquisition, or network growth environments.
- Experience using AI for data analysis, workflow streamlining, or scaling impact.
- Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to enhance outcomes, including communication drafting, data analysis, prompt engineering, and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong understanding of online retail and wholesale, drop-ship, and commission-based business models.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Gainsight, or Salesloft.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to identify and implement scalable, repeatable processes.
