Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Five9 is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer – Storage Platforms based in Bengaluru. This role focuses on building, automating, and operating large-scale Software Defined Storage (SDS) and Kubernetes platforms within a private cloud environment.

• Deploy and operate enterprise storage solutions like Pure Storage, HPE, NetApp, Ceph, and Longhorn using Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform).
• Integrate self-service workflows for Kubernetes CSI and OpenStack consumers.
• Implement robust backup strategies, preferably utilizing Rubik platforms.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure updates, patching, and rolling back changes.
• Ensure deep observability of storage systems using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana to monitor capacity, latency, IOPS, and recovery health.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux systems (Ubuntu, RHEL), Kubernetes networks, hypervisors (KVM/OpenStack/Suse Harvester), and storage arrays.
