Senior DevOps Engineer

IntegriChain is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps/SRE team in Pune, India. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in constructing secure CI/CD pipelines, providing comprehensive support for application lifecycles, and driving automation initiatives across our cloud environments. This position offers a dynamic blend of hands-on engineering, mentorship opportunities, and the potential for occasional sprint leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform & Automation

• Design, implement, and refine CI/CD pipelines utilizing contemporary tooling.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Enhance processes for deployment, packaging, monitoring, and observability.

Security & Cloud Operations

• Integrate security best practices into infrastructure, pipelines, and application delivery workflows.
• Enforce compliance standards, manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, conduct vulnerability scanning, and uphold cloud security best practices.
• Administer and optimize our AWS environments, with a focus on cost control and efficiency.

Reliability & Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, participating in on-call rotations as needed.
• Contribute to incident response efforts, enhance runbooks, and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive identification and resolution of issues.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and SRE sprints.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to planning and estimation activities.
• Engage in strategic architecture discussions to elevate delivery efficiency and system reliability.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering roles.

Demonstrated strong experience with:

• CI/CD Tools: AWS Codepipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis.
• Containerization: Docker, with Kubernetes experience being a significant plus.
• IaC & Automation: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Pulumi.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS services including ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Version Control Systems: Proficient in Git/GitHub.
• Scripting Languages: Strong proficiency in Python (required) and Bash.
• Vulnerability Scanning Tools: AWS Inspector, Tenable Nessus.
• Secrets & Access Management: HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Delinea Secret Server.
• Static/Dynamic Code & Pipeline Security Tools: SonarQube, Veracode, Qualys, GitHub Code Security.
• Compliance & Cloud Security Posture Management: AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CrowdStrike, Splunk.

Proven knowledge of:

• Implementing security and compliance measures within cloud environments.
• Observability principles, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Linux systems administration.
• Fundamental networking concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
