Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Join SimCorp as a Senior DevOps Engineer on our SaaS Onboarding & Reliability team. You will play pivotal roles in both DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), ensuring seamless delivery, integration, and reliability of cloud-based solutions for internal teams and external clients.

You will lead the strategic migration of live clients from AWS to Azure, build automated infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), develop secure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and optimize batch jobs. Your work will directly impact client success on our GAIN SaaS platform while adhering to SOC2 compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud environments using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Create automation scripts in PowerShell or Python to enhance efficiency.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and incident management for Azure services.
• Schedule and optimize batch jobs, transitioning them to event-driven patterns where possible.
• Maintain security posture with secure-by-design principles across identity, networking, and configuration controls.

What We're Looking For

We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience in cloud platforms within the financial sector. Proficiency is required in Azure services (Active Directory, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel), scripting languages (PowerShell/Python), and infrastructure tools.

• Experience managing Oracle databases, PL/SQL, XML, and virtualization environments.

Solid problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are essential. Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension is a plus.
