Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

This position, listed on behalf of a partner company in international banking, seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer based in India for a fully remote opportunity. You will help shape cloud platform consumption through modern self-service approaches and design reusable 'golden paths' for efficient infrastructure provisioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement self-service cloud golden paths using Terraform and automation tools.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) components to support account onboarding, workload deployment, and connectivity.
• Integrate security controls, networking strategies, governance protocols, compliance standards, and operational requirements into the platform experience.
• Influence technical architecture and developer experience surrounding cloud platforms.
• Establish scalable engineering practices, delivery standards, and clear documentation for reusable components.

Requirements

We are looking for a professional with 5+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience, at least 1 year hands-on with AWS Cloud. Strong practical expertise in Terraform is essential, along with solid understanding of CI/CD practices, Git workflows, and cloud networking (VPCs, routing). Knowledge of AWS IAM security concepts and governance compliance requirements is highly valued.
