Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview
The Systems team at Arise seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to report into the Director of Data, AI, and Engineering. You will be instrumental in developing controls, implementing processes for system management across our global infrastructure, and leading key initiatives like AWS Cloud Migration.

Core Competencies & Responsibilities

You will own end-to-end cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), automate Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/GitOps, build robust CI/CD pipelines with zero-downtime strategies, manage Kubernetes platforms (EKS/AKS) and service meshes, ensure enterprise-grade observability with OpenTelemetry/Prometheus, enforce strict security compliance (CIS/SOC2), develop automation scripts in Python/Bash, architect hybrid networking solutions, drive operational excellence through disaster recovery planning, and mentor engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience with Python (specifically emphasized) and Terraform
- Expertise in AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification and Azure DevOps practices
- Proficiency in container orchestration, scripting, security governance, and multi-cloud environments.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Okta Certified Professional.
