Senior DevOps Engineer - Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Biztech Consulting & Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, automating, and managing infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This role is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and offers a full-time opportunity to work on cutting-edge DevOps technologies.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Terraform, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), automation with Ansible, scripting (Bash/Python), CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration with Kubernetes. Strong communication skills and customer interaction experience are essential for this client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and automated deployments.
• Automate configuration management and provisioning using Ansible.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash and Python to streamline system operations and workflows.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale applications using Kubernetes (both managed services like EKS/GKE and self-managed clusters).
• Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide support for on-prem infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and provide solutions.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Terraform (IaC) for cloud and on-prem provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP environments.
• Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and log monitoring using ELK.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes in both managed (EKS/GKE) and self-managed/on-prem deployments.
• Experience managing on-premises infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with customer-facing exposure.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with ETL pipelines.
• Experience working with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
