Senior Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer for our Custom Business Applications team in Chennai. You will work hands-on across the Azure full-stack to design, implement, and evolve applications supporting core business processes. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Implementation: Implement solutions based on Low Level Designs (LLD), own complex component/module implementations, and ensure correctness, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Delivery & Execution: Translate requirements into working software, break down features into actionable tasks, provide reliable estimates, and deliver high-quality increments aligned with sprint goals.
• Quality & Standards: Write clean, readable code adhering to team standards; participate in meaningful code reviews; address technical debt; adhere to DoR/DoD criteria.
• Operational Support: Troubleshoot complex production issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and ensure adequate logging and observability.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with Tech Leads, Architects, Product Owners, QA, and Platform teams; mentor junior developers; drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency with C#, PowerShell, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, .NET, Angular (or similar), and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases on Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services: App Service, Functions, Cosmos DB, Storage, etc., along with cloud security best practices.
• Clean code development skills including Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, Agile methodologies, and source control strategies.

Differentiators & Assets

• Proficiency using AI-assisted coding tools responsibly (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Experience contributing to UX designs.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Event Sourcing, CQRS).
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, GraphQL.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or ARM templates.
