Role Overview: Senior Developer Advocate (India/APAC)

About the Opportunity:

MongoDB is seeking a passionate technologist to join our Developer Relations team in India. As a Senior Developer Advocate, you will be at the forefront of driving engagement, learning, and excitement within MongoDB's developer community across India and APAC.

Your Impact:

• Empower Developers: Leverage deep expertise in database technologies (including Atlas) to guide developers on building impactful solutions through code and content.
• Engage Live: Deliver interactive workshops, labs, hackathons, and sessions for audiences ranging from intimate groups to large gatherings of up to 400 developers.
• Foster Community Growth: Build relationships with community leaders, influencers, and partners to scale Developer Relations programs across the region.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing teams to refine messaging and support user groups/champions globally.

About You (Requirements):

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in roles such as Developer Advocate, Solutions Architect, Software Engineer, or similar DevRel functions.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in database technologies and programming languages with the ability to simplify complex concepts for all skill levels.
• Skills: Strong public speaking abilities, proven track record of creating hands-on content, and a collaborative mindset aligned with MongoDB's "Building Together" value.
