CSE Solutions is seeking a talented Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad, India. This role focuses on the intricate design of Electrical panels and Instrumentation Control panels. Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing and interpreting all project-related documents, including electrical, mechanical, and architectural plans, to precisely quantify required controls and instrumentation before the design phase. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) that adhere to project and client specifications. Furthermore, you will utilize AutoCAD and E-Plan to produce accurate control system and control panel design drawings.
Effective coordination with our control panel division, covering design, production, and testing, is crucial. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks according to deadlines. You will collaborate closely with Customers, Company Management, the Design and Production Team, and Contractors to ensure the flawless execution of projects from the inquiry stage through to commissioning. Ensuring all control panel designs comply with IEC standards and customer specifications is paramount.
This role also involves assisting in the development of uniform procedures and standards for the design and production process, contributing to operational excellence.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience. A strong understanding of IEC 61439, UL, CE, ATEX, and IECEX standards is essential. Familiarity with concepts of HV, LV, MV Electrical Power distribution and Control is required. You should also be knowledgeable about Instrumentation Panels, including those for safe areas as well as Purge/Flameproof Panels for hazardous areas, and have an understanding of PLC and Automation panels.
Excellent ability to read and interpret design specifications and plans is a must. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, are necessary. You should possess strong communication skills, capable of composing emails and general correspondence, and be proficient in speaking, writing, and reading English. Advanced computer proficiency with all basic office programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook) and the ability to learn and utilize related software and systems are required. Direct experience with AutoCAD and E-Plan is mandatory for this role.
