Senior Data Scientist

Innovaccer is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our analytics team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. You will play a pivotal role in leveraging healthcare data to build advanced algorithms that personalize patient treatments based on their clinical and behavioral history. Your mission will be to define and build the next generation of predictive analytics tools for the healthcare industry.

As part of our analytics team, you will be instrumental in weaving data science and analytics into our products, serving as the custodian of intelligence. You will develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytical models to enable our end-users to make informed decisions. Your Role

• Design and lead the development of artificial intelligence initiatives focused on enhancing patient health and wellness.
• Collaborate with business leaders and customers to understand challenges and develop large-scale solutions.
• Define the technical architecture for productizing Innovaccer’s machine-learning algorithms and facilitate their market launch through strategic partnerships.
• Translate complex business problems into machine learning challenges and design effective solution workflows.
• Partner with our data platform and applications teams to seamlessly integrate data science capabilities and algorithms into their products and workflows.
• Work with development teams to create tools for repeatable data tasks, accelerating and automating the development cycle.
• Define and execute the quarterly roadmap for data science initiatives.

What You Need

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in Data Science; healthcare experience is a significant plus.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, including building enterprise applications and optimization techniques.
• Extensive experience with deep learning techniques for NLP and Computer Vision, as well as state-of-the-art Generative AI pipelines. Knowledge of implementing agentic workflows is advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience deploying deep learning models at scale in production with iterative improvements, requiring hands-on expertise with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• A keen interest in research and staying abreast of advancements in AI and ML.
• Deep understanding of classical ML techniques (Random Forests, SVM, Boosting, Bagging) and proficiency in building training and evaluation pipelines.
• Proven experience with global and local model explainability using LIME, SHAP, and related techniques.
• Hands-on experience with at least one ML platform such as Databricks, Azure ML, or SageMaker.
• Experience in developing and deploying production-ready models.
• Knowledge of implementing an MLOps framework.
• A customer-focused attitude, demonstrated through communication and documentation.
