Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist at NielsenIQ in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in helping both internal and external clients better understand and utilize RMS services. This involves deeply understanding client requirements and queries, and then addressing them through your expertise in data science and RMS.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of Nielsen's product suite.
• Comprehending client concerns and challenges.
• Proposing solutions to client concerns under supervision.
• Automating existing processes and developing innovative solutions.
• Taking initiative to identify and address issues within the RMS product, contributing to product improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field involving statistical analysis of large datasets.
• 2-3 years of experience in market research or a related domain.

• Ability to work in a virtual environment and familiarity with Git/Bitbucket processes.
• Experience with RMS or NIQ is advantageous.
• Strong logical reasoning skills to tackle complex challenges and achieve positive outcomes.
• Ability to leverage data from various sources to influence decisions.
• Skill in interpreting data in the context of business objectives.
