Senior Data Scientist

Sigmoid Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for its Bengaluru office. This role involves tackling a wide array of cutting-edge data science and machine learning problems across diverse industries, requiring close client engagement to understand business contexts. We are looking for passionate individuals skilled in solving complex, unstructured business problems using data science and machine learning. The position falls under the Data Science and Analysis function.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct hypothesis testing, generate insights, perform root cause analysis, and conduct factor analysis.
• Develop statistical models (predictive & prescriptive) utilizing various statistical and machine learning techniques/algorithms.
• Test and train models, enhance model accuracy, and monitor model performance.
• Extract data from Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW)/Big Data Platforms, prepare datasets (creation of base data, aggregation, transformation), and perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).

Desired Experience & Education:

• 2.5 to 3.4 years of relevant Machine Learning experience.
• A B.Tech degree from a Tier-1 college or an M.S./M. Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field is preferred.
