Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Kolkata. This role involves tackling a wide spectrum of cutting-edge data science and machine learning problems across diverse industries. You will engage directly with clients to understand their business context and develop data-driven solutions. This position is within our Data Science and Analysis function, focusing on Data Science and Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hypothesis testing, generate insights, perform root cause analysis, and apply factor analysis.
• Develop statistical models (predictive & prescriptive) utilizing various statistical and machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Test and train models, continuously improving model accuracy and monitoring performance.
• Extract data from EDW/Big Data platforms, prepare datasets (including creation, aggregation, and transformation), and perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).

• Strong foundation in statistical concepts and machine learning.

Desired Experience & Education:

• 2.5 to 3.4 years of relevant Machine Learning experience.
• A B.Tech degree from a Tier-1 college, or an M.S. or M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
