Senior Data Scientist

Sigmoid Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for its Bengaluru office. This role involves working on a diverse range of cutting-edge data science and machine learning problems across multiple industries. You will engage directly with clients to understand their business context and challenges.

We are looking for individuals passionate about solving complex, unstructured business problems using data science and machine learning. The function for this role is Data Science and Analysis, specifically within Data Science / Machine Learning.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct hypothesis testing, generate insights, perform root cause analysis, and apply factor analysis.
• Develop statistical models (predictive & prescriptive) utilizing various statistical and machine learning techniques/algorithms.
• Test and train models, optimize model accuracy, and monitor model performance.
• Extract data from EDW/Big Data Platforms, prepare datasets (creation of base data, aggregation, transformation), and conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA).

Desired Experience & Education:

• 2.5 to 3.4 years of relevant Machine Learning experience.
• A B.Tech degree from a Tier-1 college, or an M.S. or M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field is preferred.
