Senior Data Scientist

Join Sigmoid Analytics as a Senior Data Scientist in our Ahmedabad hybrid office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide array of cutting-edge data science and machine learning problems across diverse industries. You will collaborate with clients to understand their business contexts and tackle complex, unstructured business challenges using data science and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hypothesis testing, generate insights, perform root cause analysis, and execute factor analysis.
• Develop statistical models (predictive and prescriptive) utilizing various statistical and machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Test, train, and monitor model performance, focusing on improving accuracy.
• Extract data from EDW/Big Data Platforms, prepare datasets through aggregation and transformation, and perform exploratory data analysis (EDA).

• Fluency in Python and proficiency with libraries such as SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, I Python, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with distributed big data processing tools including PySpark, Jupyter, Linux, and AWS.
• Team management skills are a plus.

Experience and Education:

• 2.5 - 3.4 years of relevant Machine Learning experience.
• A B.Tech degree from a Tier-1 college or an M.S./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
