Senior Data Scientist

Birdeye is seeking a full-time Data Scientist to join our team. This role offers a remote work opportunity based in Gurugram, India.

As a Data Scientist at Birdeye, you will play a crucial role in developing custom data models and algorithms to analyze datasets. You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced machine learning models to solve complex business challenges. A key aspect of this role involves clearly communicating data-driven insights, findings, and recommendations to Product Managers and executives.

Primary Skills: Data Science, AI/ML, GenAI, LLM, NLP, Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to address complex problems.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations, and data-driven insights to PMs and executives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in prompt engineering and fine-tuning of AI/ML, GenAI, and LLM models.
• Proficiency with NLP tools such as Word2Vec, TextBlob, NLTK, SpaCy, Gensim, CoreNLP, BERT, GloVe, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deploying APIs using modern frameworks like FastAPI/gRPC.
• Experience with Docker for container deployment.
• Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Domain knowledge in Online Reputation Management or prior experience in a product-based company is a significant advantage.
• Expertise in delivering end-to-end analytical solutions across multiple technologies and tools for various business problems.
