Full Job Description
As a Senior Data Processing Analyst (SDPA) specializing in Input Validation (IV) in Chennai, TN, you will be responsible for the timely and high-quality delivery of client deliverables, coding, and data validation within the retailer and manufacturer industries. Your focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data for specific product categories. You will play a key role in identifying, investigating, and coordinating the resolution of data, process, or product-related issues, acting as the primary point of contact for commercial queries and ensuring efficient, client-centric solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the team to resolve technical challenges and ensure a thorough understanding of new tool enhancements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the event of errors.
- Lead the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and work with the team to provide detailed issue analysis.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with onshore teams and other stakeholders, providing precise project updates and managing client inquiries efficiently.
- Define, monitor, and document process execution, implementing mechanisms for document updates and exception tracking.
- Analyze regular execution processes with meticulous attention to detail to identify areas for automation and improvement.
- Execute process automation using tools such as R, Python, and Excel Macros, and explore the implementation of advanced techniques like Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
- Ensure the high quality of data setup across various markets and analyze potential client data concerns, acting as a crucial link in NielsenIQ's operational chain and engaging in cross-departmental cooperation.
- Execute Input Operations processes and associated project work, understanding the end-to-end data processing flow from retailer receipt to delivery, supporting US operations.
- Execute production tasks to guarantee data accuracy and trendability within scheduled deadlines, and investigate data inquiries and challenges with local, regional, and offshore Operations teams.
- Participate in the development and drive standardization and process efficiency for method-related processes and applications.
- Engage with Retailers, StatOps, Reference Data, Data Science, and Output Teams to gather information and coordinate tasks for data quality improvement and continuous business process enhancement.
- Provide technical and process expertise for the deployment of the Consumer Information Platform (CIP) and support remote resources in effective project implementation.
- Prepare accurate tracking KPIs to monitor and improve quality performance (on-time delivery and data accuracy) and maintain project work discipline.
- Operate effectively in a virtual and multicultural environment, liaising with stakeholders and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working experience with proprietary software and Ops Processes within the NielsenIQ domain.
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and analyze data.
- Ability to train and explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in monitoring activities and understanding KPIs.
- Process-driven mindset with the ability to define and refine processes for continuous improvement in quality and on-time delivery.
- Proven organizational and presentation skills.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Project management skills, including accurately scoping project requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference given to Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, or BBA.
- Master’s degree in Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Exposure to SQL/Python and ML/AI, with experience working with large datasets.
