Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and dedicated Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using DBT.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data solutions, bridging the gap between analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Implement and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring data accessibility and security.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas for analytics and reporting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Hard Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (BigQuery preferred).
• Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend).
• Understanding of data modeling and schema design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau preferred).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Ability to manage data engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra.
