About the Python Data Engineer Role:
WIN Home Inspection is seeking a skilled Python Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications and scalable data solutions. This role involves optimizing data pipelines, integrating APIs and databases, and driving data-driven decision-making through strategic thinking and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain efficient Python applications.
- Write optimized SQL queries and manage large datasets using relational databases.
- Implement and integrate APIs, web scraping, and database queries for data extraction.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet technical requirements.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through best practices and code reviews.
- Stay current with advancements in Python, data engineering, and backend development.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of Python expertise.
- Proficiency in Python frameworks and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scrapy).
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
