About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to tackle diverse data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence challenges within a variety of industries. You will play a crucial role in transforming business needs into actionable analytical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their business context and objectives.
- Map and visualize business processes to gain a comprehensive understanding.
- Translate complex business problems into well-defined analytical structures, utilizing statistical and machine learning techniques for solutions.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI and analytics into client decision-making processes.
- Identify and formulate strategies for business improvement.
- Effectively communicate the value and impact of analyses, presenting findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in developing and enhancing algorithms and models to address business problems.
- Proven ability to provide end-to-end analysis support across different industry domains and application areas.
- Proficiency in data quality assessment, including analyzing usability and sufficiency of data for desired analytical and business outcomes.
- Skilled in generating data cuts/outputs according to specifications (e.g., survey data cleanup, data weighting, variable recoding, custom tabular views, cross-tabulations).
- Experience in conducting quantitative analyses and interpreting results.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Spotfire.
- Expertise in MS SQL Database and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Python knowledge is considered a valuable asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with storyboarding and client interaction is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant analytics experience, with a strong focus on problem-solving and advanced analytics solutions.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or an advanced degree in Mathematics/Statistics, or an equivalent qualification.
