Senior Data Analyst

Sigmad Analytics is seeking a dynamic Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Gurugram. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to tackle a wide spectrum of data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence challenges across diverse industries.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding client business contexts, mapping intricate business processes, and translating complex business problems into actionable analytical structures. You will leverage statistical and machine learning techniques to find solutions, working closely with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI and analytics into key business decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for business improvement, and effectively communicating analytical findings and recommendations to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their business context and needs.
• Map and visualize business processes to gain a comprehensive understanding.
• Translate business challenges into analytical frameworks and solve using statistical or ML methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI and analytics into decision-making.
• Identify and propose strategies for business enhancement.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to clients.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Experience in developing and enhancing algorithms and models for business problem-solving.
• Proven ability to provide end-to-end analysis support across various industries and applications.
• Skilled in data quality assessment, analyzing data usability and sufficiency.
• Proficiency in generating data outputs such as survey data cleanup, weighting, recoding, and cross-tabulations.
• Experience in conducting quantitative analyses and interpreting results.
• Expertise in visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Spotfire.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Database and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Python knowledge is a strong asset.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Storyboarding and client interaction skills are highly valued.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for immediate joining.

Education and Experience

• 2.5 to 3.5 years of relevant analytics experience, with a focus on problem-solving and advanced analytics.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech), MBA, or an advanced degree in Mathematics/Statistics or a related field.
