Senior Data Analyst

About the Role:

Kamakhya Analytics seeks a Senior Data Analyst to join our Modelling, Pattern Recognition and Insights team. In this hybrid role in Bengaluru, you will build tools, models, and pipelines that reinvent how data is used for strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead analytical initiatives transforming raw data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making across India's political and policy sectors.
• Develop and optimize dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to support cross-functional teams in Banking, Finance, or FMCG industries.
• Cleanse, validate, and analyze end-to-end datasets using SQL and relational databases.
• Conduct exploratory analysis for forecasting, risk identification, and performance drivers.
• Maintain data repositories for reproducibility and collaborate with Intelligence teams on reporting automation (VBA, Power Query).

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Data Science or quantitative field with 2+ years experience; MBA/Postgrad preferred.
• Expertise in MS Excel Pivot tables/Lookup and SQL query writing.
• Mandatory proficiency in Tableau or Power BI visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Python for data cleaning (added advantage) and R Shiny/ggplot2 (preferred).
