UltraViolet Cyber seeks a highly skilled Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our Threat Intelligence capabilities in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role requires a 5–7 years of cybersecurity experience to identify, analyze, and communicate critical cyber threats. The ideal candidate will lead proactive defense efforts, support incident response, vulnerability management, and executive decision-making by translating technical intelligence into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, collect, and analyze cyber threat intelligence from commercial, open-source, government, industry, and internal sources to identify and prioritize emerging threats. Research and analyze ransomware groups, nation-state actors, hacktivists, and cybercriminal campaigns relevant to UltraViolet Cyber’s enterprise environment.

Develop and maintain threat actor profiles, including capabilities, motivations, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to map adversary behaviors for detection and mitigation recommendations.

Enrich Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), Indicators of Attack (IOAs), and adversary infrastructure to support incident response investigations and threat hunting initiatives.

Collaborate with Detection Engineering to refine threat-based analytics, detections, and use cases across EDR, SIEM, email security, firewalls, DNS, web proxies, and cloud security platforms.

Support Purple Team, Red Team, and tabletop exercises by providing realistic attack scenarios and adversary intelligence to enhance organizational resilience.

Track geopolitical events, industry trends, and global cyber incidents to assess evolving threat landscapes and inform strategic decision-making.

Create tailored intelligence reports, including executive summaries, threat advisories, and flash alerts, for technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

Develop and maintain cyber threat intelligence playbooks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles to standardize intelligence collection and reporting.

Mentor junior analysts by sharing technical guidance, reviewing intelligence products, and promoting best practices in cyber threat intelligence.

Stay updated on emerging attacker methodologies, threat intelligence frameworks, and industry trends through continuous research and professional development.

Preferred Skills:

Proven experience with commercial and open-source threat intelligence platforms, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, and Cyber Kill Chain. Strong analytical skills in threat hunting, IOC enrichment, and adversary attribution.

Familiarity with enterprise security platforms, cloud security threats, identity attacks, ransomware, phishing campaigns, and emerging cyber threats.

Advanced technical writing and reporting skills to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.

Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, SOC, or Threat Hunting.

Strong understanding of cyber threat landscape, malware analysis, phishing campaigns, and adversary tactics. Experience with MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Cyber Kill Chain, and threat intelligence platforms.

Proven ability to analyze IOCs, IOAs, threat campaigns, and credential theft risks. Certifications like Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA) and CISM are a strong preference.
