Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for our Gurugram office. This role is crucial for maintaining our security systems, automating processes, and responding effectively to security incidents across both cloud-based and on-premise environments. You will serve as an escalation point for incident response and provide support for our security toolsets, managing multiple projects and alerts with general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain cloud and on-premise security systems.
• Coordinate the implementation and upgrades of security systems.
• Manage and monitor automated security response tools and develop/maintain automated security processes.
• Investigate and remediate security-related alerts and policy violations for both cloud and on-premise systems.
• Research threat actors, tactics, techniques, procedures, malware, and other Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Engineer and tune custom alerts for security systems.
• Research emerging security technologies and provide recommendations for security initiatives.
• Assist with documentation and training for security systems.
• Act as an escalation point and mentor for junior analysts and oversee the relationship with our hosted Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Serve as a technical point of contact during security incidents.
• Prepare security reports to benchmark security efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent professional experience.
• Certifications such as COMPTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, GIAC Security Essentials, CCNA Security, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Information Systems, with at least 2 years of dedicated experience in Cyber Security.
• Excellent English written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Capabilities:

• Experience with Microsoft's security suite.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing security solutions for Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and/or Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with endpoint security solutions, including EDR and DLP.
• Demonstrated experience in process and security automation.
• Expertise in SIEM configuration, alert tuning, and KQL.
• Experience with Office 365 services and security solutions.
• Proven experience in incident response.
• Excellent technical writing and research skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and be on-call.
• Strong team player with the ability to work with ambiguity, adapt to change, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
