About the Role

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior CPU Compiler Performance Engineer to craft outstanding compilers for its CPUs, designed for massive AI and computing markets (Grace CPU). The compiler organisation impacts every NVIDIA build from CPU to GPU.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Collaborate with distributed teams to understand, modify, and improve NVIDIA's CPU Compiler Software.
• Analyse AI workloads to champion improvements in new hardware and the compiler toolchain, focusing on hardware-software co-design.
• Contribute new features and optimisation techniques targeting NVIDIA CPUs while engaging upstream and open-source communities (GCC, LLVM, MLIR).
• Develop high-performance compiler software for artificial intelligence, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and data centre technologies.

What We Need To See:

• 8+ years of experience with a BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with compiler development or related academic projects.
• Knowledge of Language Front-Ends, Compiler optimisation techniques, and code generation modules.
• Strong hands-on C++ programming skills.
• CPU architecture expertise (Arm AArch32/AArch64, RISC-V, x86_64, PowerPC, DSPs) with low-level performance analysis experience including pre-Silicon hardware/software co-design.
