Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on UI development to join the Raw Metal Cloud team at Oracle. This position is critical for building high-performance GPU platforms supporting AI, machine learning, and HPC workloads.

About RMC Portal V2

The Raw Metal Cloud (RMC) team builds a software platform managing the entire AI infrastructure lifecycle: hardware onboarding, inventory management, networking, provisioning, validation, rack certification, and customer handoff. As an IC3 engineer, you will lead the migration of the RMC Portal from Oracle APEX to React and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy APEX workflows to a modern stack using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS through a phased rollout.
• Design and build reusable components for dashboards managing inventory, rack readiness, and repair operations.
• Integrate REST APIs, implement single sign-on (SSO), and develop role-based user experiences with high security standards.
• Optimize usability and accessibility for complex interfaces handling large datasets.
• Develop automated testing suites to ensure code quality within CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of owning production software components from design through deployment.
• Expert proficiency with React hooks, state management (Redux/Zustand), and routing patterns.
• Strong expertise in HTML/CSS for responsive web development and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle SQL) including data modeling and query optimization.

Nice to Have

• Experience migrating Oracle APEX or similar legacy applications to modern frameworks like React.
• Familiarity with Java backend development for full-stack integration.
• Knowledge of OCI services, enterprise identity management (IAM), and operational dashboarding tools.
