Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking hands-on engineers with expertise and passion for solving complex problems in distributed systems. Join our Storage Infrastructure team that operates with Exabytes of data across 60+ regions. Our mission is to provide customers with industry-leading computing, storage, networking, database, security, and foundational cloud-based services.

As a member of the Block Storage team, you will own software design and development for core components in our scalable and highly available infrastructure. You should be both a rock solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the backend stack. Work comfortably in a collaborative agile environment.

• 5+ years experience delivering large scale, highly available distributed systems and backend services
• Extensive experience developing clean code in C/C++ or similar programming languages
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multi-threading and distributed systems fundamentals
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)
