Senior Control Systems Engineer - Analyzers and ICSS

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer with expertise in Analyzers and Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) for a full-time, office/project-based role in Navi Mumbai. This position offers national/international relocation authorization for families. The role involves conducting field investigations and client interviews to define project scope and cost estimates for control systems. You will lead the design, development, modification, and evaluation of control system components and processes, resolving technical issues and ensuring project-specific requirements are met. Key responsibilities include extensive work with Analyzer Systems, including preparation of specifications, data sheets, SOW/Material requisitions, and supplier document review. Hands-on experience in designing Process Analyzers and Analyzer Shelters, including their components and testing (FAT/SAT), is essential. A strong understanding of local codes and standards pertaining to analyzer design is required, along with knowledge of AMADAS, Fire and Gas systems, and third-party communications to the ICSS. Experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation, instrument installation details, and participation in HAZOP and SIL/LOPA reviews is also crucial. The role requires coordinating assigned work with other technical personnel. This is a senior-level position requiring a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience. Required knowledge includes subject matter expertise in Analyzer Systems, technical knowledge of ICSS and control system engineering in the Oil, Gas, and/or Chemical industries. A thorough understanding of engineering techniques, design calculations, international and Indian industry codes/standards, plant constructability, work planning, scheduling, and cost estimating is necessary. Familiarity with various field instrumentation, DCS, PLC, hazardous areas, and design experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA Networks, fiber optic, and Ethernet communication is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills are also required.
