Job Summary

EY is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with expertise in .NET Core and React to join our Security Remediation Team. In this critical role, you will focus on developing secure, scalable, and resilient web applications. You will be instrumental in integrating robust security practices throughout the entire development lifecycle, enhancing code security, ensuring compliance with industry security standards, and implementing best practices to defend against common web vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, enterprise-level web applications using .NET Core and React, adhering to secure coding principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements, architect secure systems, and deliver robust software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure C# and .NET Core code, implementing essential security controls like request sanitization and input validation to mitigate OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
• Enhance and remediate existing applications by identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities within the codebase.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to security standards, employing security testing techniques and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Partner closely with the dedicated security team to embed security best practices across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Investigate and implement cutting-edge security tools and techniques, including static and dynamic code analysis and security scanning, to continuously improve application security posture.
• Test, deploy, and maintain secure applications, ensuring prompt remediation of identified vulnerabilities through the use of specialized security-focused development tools.
• Develop detailed documentation for security processes and architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with internal security guidelines and relevant industry standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and proactively recommend practices and tools to strengthen application security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven track record as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, with a significant focus on secure software development methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with .NET Core and C#, including a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience developing secure front-end interfaces using React.
• Solid understanding of fundamental security concepts, including request sanitization, input validation, and secure coding practices to counter OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with secure architecture styles/APIs (e.g., REST, GraphQL, RPC) and security protocols (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
• Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, emphasizing secure data handling and storage practices.
• Proficiency in Git and other standard version control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate security-related issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing secure, high-quality code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, particularly integrating security testing into continuous delivery workflows.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit, with experience in developing security-focused tests.
• Familiarity with front-end build pipelines and tools for securing client-side code.
• Experience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, Mend, CheckMarx, or other static/dynamic analysis tools.

React Developer Specifics

• Join our team as a Senior React Developer to work on Motif, an enterprise-level design system.
• Develop and maintain reusable React components that strictly adhere to our design system specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with designers and developers to ensure component consistency, usability, and accessibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Contribute to the creation of comprehensive component documentation and usage guidelines.
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Required for React Developer Role

• Minimum 5 years of extensive experience with React and modern JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture principles.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end build tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high code quality standards.
