Full Job Description

SAP is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in S/4HANA Service Management, with a techno-functional focus, to join our team in Gurgaon, India. This role is critical in addressing requirements within the S/4HANA Service Management solution and building expertise within our S/4HANA Hub to deliver these solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Possess a strong understanding of end-to-end core business processes within Service Management.
  • Facilitate client discussions and articulate proposed improvements to business processes.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for clearly defining problems and proposing effective solutions.
  • Deliver billable components that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Author detailed functional and technical specifications for functional enhancements, interfaces, forms, and master data conversion.
  • Develop application specifications and recommend the development of new code or the reuse of existing code.
  • Define project scopes, estimate efforts, and manage project timelines.
  • Participate in Request for Proposals (RFPs) related to Service Management.
  • Engage in solution design, customer advisory, leading workshops, and managing project execution risks. Provide customers with best practice roadmaps.
  • Independently manage implementation projects and lead teams to achieve outcomes using the SAP Activate methodology.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Engineering (BE, BTech).
  • Over 10 years of SAP experience.
  • Experience in SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Customer Service, including at least one end-to-end implementation cycle from CRM to S/4 Service Management or CS to S/4 Service Management.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis to identify necessary configuration and development items.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Service and Customer Management modules.
  • Extensive knowledge in CRM Service or Customer Service modules.
  • Deep experience in areas such as Interaction Center, ERMS, Service Request, Service Contract, Service Order, Service Quotation, Recurring Services, Service Confirmations, Billing, and Pricing.
  • Deep experience in areas including Leads, Opportunities, Activities, and Knowledge Articles.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies like Fiori and Web UI.
  • Understanding of Order to Cash and Quote to Cash solutions.
  • Fair understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilities and solution scope mapping from CRM to S/4 Service.
  • Understanding of Field Service Management is a plus.
  • Strong client-facing experience and a well-developed customer focus.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Mobility is required; candidates must be willing to travel to project locations for short and long-term assignments.
  • Experience with S/4HANA Service and Customer Management.
  • Experience with SAP CRM Service module or Customer Service.
  • Experience in business process configuration and testing of process scenarios.
  • At least five full-cycle implementation experiences in SAP CRM Service and/or S/4 Service and Customer Management.
  • Good integration knowledge of related modules and proficiency with migration tools like MC and DMLT.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as Web UI, Fiori, and BTP extensions.
  • Proficiency in ABAP, CDS, ODATA, Web services, Proxy, SOAP, BAPI, Middleware, Web UI, BOL GENIL.
  • Proficiency in AET, Extensibility, Workflows, BSP, Forms, Events, BADI, and Exits.
  • In-depth knowledge of the CRM One Order framework and S/4 CM One Order framework.
  • Ability to write detailed functional and technical specifications for functional enhancements, interfaces, forms, and master data conversion.
  • Awareness and knowledge of functional use cases for Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain are desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP IS-U/CCS CRM technical and configuration problem-solving skills would be an added advantage.
  • The role is based in Bangalore & Gurgaon.
