Senior Consultant | Qlik Sense Developer (6-8 Years) - Banking Domain

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is seeking a skilled Senior Consultant with 6-8 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. This role focuses on leveraging Qlik Sense and QlikView to deliver impactful data solutions within the banking sector.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Construct and maintain interactive Qlik Sense dashboards and data visualizations tailored to meet specific banking business requirements, including risk analytics, retail banking performance, and compliance reporting.
• Data Modeling & ETL: Develop robust data models, execute complex SQL queries, and build ELT/ETL workflows using relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL to efficiently source and cleanse financial data.
• Domain Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of the banking domain, encompassing transactions, KYC, AML, credit risk, and loan lifecycle, to translate functional specifications into actionable business insights.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Qlik Sense applications and SQL scripts to handle high-volume data sets, ensuring rapid load times and a responsive user experience.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Actively engage with business analysts, product owners, and compliance teams to gather detailed requirements, provide expert technical guidance, and ensure the timely delivery of solutions.

Core Skillsets:

• Proficiency in Qlik Sense and QlikView.
• Experience with NPrinting for Qlik reporting.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in developing Qlik Sense Mashups.
• Prior project management experience, including knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and GITHUB.
• Exposure to Big Data and Hadoop data lakes is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with NPrinting in conjunction with Qlik Sense and third-party extensions like VizLib Library is a plus.
• Experience in creating user-friendly web interfaces using Javascript, HTML, and CSS, adhering to best practices for UI/UX design.
• Excellent creative skills for visualizing complex concepts and transforming them into intuitive user solutions.
• Ability to translate design wireframes and mock-ups into responsive and interactive web applications.
• Expertise in visualization tools such as Qlik Sense and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and experience working with large datasets.
• Ability to comprehend and analyze complex business problems.
• Excellent documentation and summarizing skills for communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on analytics experience in solving complex business problems using data.
• Expertise in data management and analytics.
• Understanding of large company structures, values, and processes.
• Proven experience in leading deliveries across diverse environments and managing stakeholders is essential.
