Position: Senior Consultant - Delivery
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Experience: 12 to 15 years
Worldline is seeking an experienced Lead Developer to enhance our development team in Pune. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of testing and software craftsmanship, while leading the design and implementation of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Guide the technical direction of the team, participate in project planning and execution, coordinate development activities, monitor team velocity, validate merge requests, and proactively raise alerts.
- Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications in a collaborative environment.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, focusing on skill enhancement and promoting best practices.
- Promote Testing Culture: Champion a strong culture of software testing and craftsmanship among team members.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Experience: 8-10 years of proven experience as a Java Developer.
Programming Languages & Tools:
- Must Have: Java 17 (deep understanding of versions 11 and 17), Kubernetes / OpenShift, Cucumber (for Behavior-Driven Development).
- Should Have: Angular (frontend development).
- Nice to Have: Elastic Search, Kibana, Kotlin, Android development.
Knowledge & Best Practices:
- Must Have: Software Craftsmanship, Microservices Architecture, Test-Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Should Have: API-First Development.
- Nice to Have: Zero Downtime Deployments.
Mindset & Values:
- Recognize that development is complete only when software is live in production, emphasizing deployment ease and monitoring production data impact.
