About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in protecting our cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. You'll collaborate with a skilled team to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge security measures. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust security controls within AWS and GCP environments to proactively defend against evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and deploy automated security operations and workflows leveraging scripting languages like Python or Golang.
• Create, enforce, and continually refine comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a strong security posture.
• Address complex security challenges by proposing and driving the end-to-end implementation of effective solutions.
• Serve as a key security advisor, offering expert guidance and best practices to cross-functional teams.
• Maintain awareness of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance our cloud security capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 2-6 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in Cloud Security, with a strong focus on AWS or GCP.
• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing AWS Security services and implementing EDR tools.
• A deep understanding of fundamental cloud security principles, policies, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Golang.
• Practical experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, source code management, and containerization technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EDR/XDR solutions, including platforms like Trend Micro or CrowdStrike.
• Familiarity with container security concepts and orchestrators like Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience in developing applications with API integrations.
• Possession of relevant security certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
