Senior Cloud Devops Engineer

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Innovation & Digital Transformation (IDT) Department in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in initiating, planning, and defining robust cloud architectures, transforming them into seamless and efficient cloud products that directly support our core business objectives and drive innovation. Your responsibilities will include creating and optimizing cloud architectures, deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications, and ensuring the consistent availability and peak performance of our cloud services for end-users. As a key member of the IDT Cloud Engineering team, you will transform well-defined cloud architectures into value-generating, business-driven cloud products. Your role will involve:

• Directly influencing business outcomes by defining cloud architectures and deploying essential cloud applications to maintain and expand our services.
• Optimizing cloud environments for cost-effectiveness, aligning cloud strategies with Ramboll’s financial and operational goals.
• Implementing automation processes to accelerate deployment speeds and enhance the performance of cloud-based products, ensuring seamless scalability of business services.
• Configuring cloud services for maximum security, safeguarding critical business data and operations.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Pipeline/Scripting: YAML, Terraform
• SCM: GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps
• DevSecOps: SonarQube
• Package Storage: Artifactory / Nexus
• Continuous Delivery: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Azure and/or GCP experience
• Configuration as Code & Automation: Ansible and Ansible Tower
• Monitoring & Observability: Splunk
• DevSecOps: JFrog Xray, any secret management tool
• Test Automation: Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar
• Working knowledge of C# .NET, Java, Python
