Senior Cloud Developer

Join CHEP as a Senior Cloud Developer to drive innovation within our international cloud platform. You will act as the core engine for designing scalable AWS infrastructure, championing GitOps automation with Kubernetes, and embedding deep observability across our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design robust security solutions ensuring alignment with best practices in a hybrid work environment.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines incorporating advanced security controls throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build customized integrations for proactive threat monitoring and vulnerability scanning.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, manage production EKS clusters, and implement comprehensive observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Architect event-driven streaming pipelines (Kafka) and develop internal tools in Python or Go.

Tech Stack:

We utilize AWS core services, Kubernetes/Terraform for IaC, PostgreSQL/Apache Kafka for data engineering, OpenTelemetry for tracing, and require proficiency in Python/Go. Experience with Databricks, Istio, ArgoCD, and CKA certification is a strong plus.
