Full Job Description

Join TD, one of the world's foremost global financial institutions and the fifth largest bank in North America. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst to spearhead requirements activities, ensuring continuous value delivery and supporting the achievement of critical business objectives. This role involves comprehensive planning, management, and leadership of the end-to-end requirements process. You will analyze impacts on customers, colleagues, stakeholders, processes, and technology solutions to drive business results. A key responsibility is supporting the validation of problem/opportunity statements and defining tangible business benefits and success criteria aligned with business segment OKRs. You will ensure adherence to the requirements management framework, drive high-quality requirement documentation with end-to-end traceability to enhance pod velocity and value, and own requirements prioritization. Proactively identify, document, and manage risks and key decisions related to requirements. A strong understanding of the interplay between portfolio investment, business/technology strategy, and target state is essential. We encourage thought leadership, challenging the status quo, and providing advisory support to Product Owners for Program Increment Planning and Quarterly Business Reviews, including defining goals, objectives, and success criteria. Connect insights across business, technology, and biz-tech teams. Partner with Change/Channel partners to understand perspectives of impacted groups, identify potential gaps or resistance, and navigate complexity and ambiguity effectively. Influence leaders to make informed decisions and foster positive collaboration and relationship management between business and technology, championing psychological safety. Reduce rework and wasted time through effective analysis, contribute to sprint goals and velocity targets, and lead requirements quality assessments to mitigate risk and ensure clarity. Provide leadership guidance, make recommendations, and collaborate to ensure solutions meet business needs. Demonstrate resilience through change and ambiguity, flexibility to cover Pod members as needed, and mentor junior BAs, BSAs, and partners. Participate in and contribute to the Analyst Practice Community of Interest. This is a full-time, onsite position in Toronto, Ontario.
