About The Role

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Trivelta, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining the core infrastructure of our AI-native platform. You will drive innovation, optimize system performance for scalability and security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, compliance, finance, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Systems Development: Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend solutions and robust APIs supporting mobile, web, and third-party integrations.
• Performance & Compliance: Optimize system reliability while implementing security best practices to ensure adherence to AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), data privacy laws, and state-specific sweepstakes regulations.
• Mentorship: Guide engineers by sharing industry best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with diverse teams to translate requirements into elegant solutions ensuring seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.
• Solid understanding of system performance optimization, security protocols, and regulatory compliance (AML/KYC/Privacy).
• Experience with data pipelines, analytics integrations, and geolocation-based access controls.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and manage incidents using monitoring systems for root cause analysis.
