We are seeking a Senior Backend Java Engineer with DevOps experience to design, build, and manage scalable APIs, backend services, and production infrastructure. This role requires ownership from development to deployment, focusing on Java (Spring Boot), security best practices, event-driven architectures (Kafka), and database optimization (PostgreSQL). Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and scalable backend services
• Ensuring security best practices (authentication, authorization, secure coding)
• Developing event-driven systems using Kafka
• Optimizing PostgreSQL databases and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Deploying and orchestrating services using Kubernetes

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of Java development experience, strong expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Terraform, and Kubernetes. They must demonstrate a security-first mindset, microservices architecture experience, and the ability to lead projects from concept to production. Overlapping PST hours and strong English communication skills are mandatory.
