Senior Backend Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs for a fast-growing marketplace.
• Own backend features from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build systems to support core business workflows including marketplace operations, commerce, payments, inventory management, and more.
• Optimize application performance, database queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and system reliability as the platform scales.
• Develop integrations with third-party services and external APIs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve backend engineering practices by writing clean, maintainable code.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on backend engineering experience (Python, Node.js, Java).
• Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs and distributed systems on cloud platforms like AWS.
