The Role
Join our fully distributed engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer (Backend). Help us scale from 2+ million daily active users beyond! Our stack features Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL. We design scalable systems using service-oriented and event-driven architecture serving millions of users.
Your Impact
- Develop engaging experiences for mobile and web applications at massive scale.
- Design and implement services integrating into a unified product architecture.
- Collaborate with the UX team to brainstorm new features.
- Maintain code quality, champion automated testing, and own service reliability including on-call duties.
What Will Set You Up for Success
We seek engineers with 5+ years of experience in high-scale distributed systems. Proficiency in backend languages (Node.js, Python, Golang) is essential, along with hands-on SQL and relational database optimization skills. Experience architecting APIs, event streams, and webhooks is required.
