Full Job Description
Deepmindz is seeking a Lead Backend Developer with 5-6 years of experience in building and deploying scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Python and AI-driven solutions, a demonstrable history of success on live production projects, and strong team leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems and APIs.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and AI teams.
- Guide and mentor backend developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
- Take ownership of live projects, deployments, and production support.
- Contribute to system design, workflows, and technical decision-making.
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability.
- Support the integration of AI/ML components into backend systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–8 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Node.js experience is preferred.
- Experience working with AI / ML-based systems using Python, including integration, APIs, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing live production projects.
- Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and backend workflows.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend frameworks.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data handling.
- Experience in team handling and technical leadership roles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Node.js for backend development.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments.
