About the Role

You will design, build, and operate backend services on Microsoft Azure, focusing on event-driven architectures that process critical business messages. This is production code where reliability is paramount.

Your Responsibilities:

• Building and operating event-driven services using Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid.
• Designing resilient APIs (REST) that other teams depend on.
• Owning your code from test suite through Application Insights in production.

We Are Looking For:

.NET Depth (7+ Years): Modern .NET 8+, dependency injection, typed HttpClient, System.Text.Json serialization best practices, and strict Async/Await correctness. You think like both an architect and a coder.

Clean Code & Testing: Separation of concerns, unit tests with mocking, testing failure paths (composition, configuration), and adhering to engineering standards.

Security Hygiene: Managed identity over connection strings; secrets never in source control. Proficiency with Entra ID is essential.

The Stack: ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server/MongoDB/Cosmos DB, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Application Insights.

AI-Assisted Development

You use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development but must have full ownership of the generated code. We encourage responsible AI usage on the job.

Hiring Process

• Live Coding Exercise: Message-processing service against a provided template without AI assistance.
• Tech Interview: Defending design decisions and making changes live to your own code.

Note: Immediate joiners preferred. This role requires hands-on coding skills for tests during interviews.
