Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

Durapid Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build robust services and APIs delivering commercial data for global consumer health clients. This role requires developing GraphQL APIs on Snowflake, building NestJS microservices, and optimizing performance with Redis.

You will collaborate directly with US-based stakeholders, making clear communication in English essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Create efficient GraphQL schemas for frontend and analytics teams.
• Develop high-performance SQL queries on Snowflake for data integration.
• Leverage Redis for caching, session management, and tuning.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps with disciplined Git workflows.
• Maintain security, scalability, and document architecture decisions.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot and agentic AI tools effectively.

Required Skills

• +4 years of experience in production backend systems.
• Expertise in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Snowflake, SQL, Redis.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrated understanding of market data (IQVIA/Circana), POS, and syndicated data concepts.
