Full Job Description

We seek a Senior Backend Engineer to design and develop user-friendly, scalable web applications requiring deep expertise in backend technologies. Responsibilities include designing systems, APIs, data pipelines; collaborating with frontend engineers, product managers, and AI teams; ensuring system reliability, security, and performance; writing clean code using modern practices; implementing automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure as code; owning feature lifecycles from architecture to deployment; monitoring production systems; resolving issues; contributing to architectural decisions; and evolving engineering best practices.


Requirements:
  • 5+ years in backend development within startups (SaaS or AI-driven preferred).
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch databases.
  • Familiarity with message queues, job schedulers, or event-driven architectures (e.g., SQS, Celery).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure and containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, unit/integration tests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills focused on performance and security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
