Role Overview
Join Optimo Capital as a Senior Backend Engineer in our Bengaluru office. As a tech and data-driven startup, we rely on engineers like you to build robust web APIs, credit risk decision engines, third-party integrations, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems for end-to-end lending workflows (customer onboarding to loan disbursement).
- Build RESTful APIs and rule engines supporting straight-through processing for property loans.
- Integrate diverse third-party services into our core platform.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
Technical Requirements
We are looking for candidates with strong proficiency in Python, Django/Django REST Framework, and experience building lightweight APIs using Flask/FastAPI. Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) is essential. Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and Git version control workflows is highly valued.
