Senior Backend Engineer

What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will:

• Lead and deliver across 3-4 high-impact product tracks.
• Own the architecture and hands-on execution of a core track.

What You'll Work On

Our team is currently tackling exciting challenges such as:

• AI Freight Broker: Developing a Gen AI-powered platform to capture demand and supply, autonomously match them, and fix rates in the freight industry.
• Legal Copilot: Building tools to assist Indian lawyers in accessing case law, insights, and documents through intelligent retrieval and summarization.
• AI Career Coach: Creating a multi-agent platform that offers career recommendations, job matching, resume rewriting, and interview preparation within a single chat interface.

Skills Required

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Django is essential. A strong understanding of system design principles, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs, is crucial. Expertise in PostgreSQL and practical knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) are required. Experience with Flask or FastAPI is desirable, and familiarity with LLMs and LangChain for orchestrating AI agents is a plus. Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React would be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• B.Tech. with 3 to 4 years of work experience, or M.Tech. with 2 to 4 years of work experience.
• Graduation from Tier 1 institutes (IITs, IIITs, BITS, NITs) is highly regarded.
• A B.Tech. in Computer Science will be strongly preferred.

Good To Have

• Previous work experience in a startup or similar fast-paced environment.
• A strong interest in system architecture design.
