Senior Backend Engineer

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own our core platform infrastructure in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. You will build new API servers and data models across our healthcare-focused platform on Python and Azure while maintaining an existing multi-agent system.

Key Responsibilities

• Greenfield Development: Design and build new API services and data models from scratch to support planned initiatives.
• Maintenance & Reliability: Extend our production LangGraph multi-agent backend with incremental capabilities, tool integrations, monitoring, and reliability checks.
• Security Architecture: Implement multi-tenant access control ensuring per-organization data isolation using JWT/OIDC auth flows (Auth0).
• Azure Operations: Manage the Azure footprint including managed identities, Key Vault, CI/CD pipelines, and environment promotion strategies.
• Data Governance: Handle healthcare data responsibly with PHI-aware design principles integral to all tasks.

About You

• You possess 5–8 years of backend engineering experience with deep, current Python expertise.
• A proven track record of designing and shipping API services from scratch is required.
• Experience working with LLM agent systems in production (LangGraph preferred) is essential.
• You have strong SQL skills (SQL Server/Postgres) for multi-tenant data-access design.
• Familiarity with Auth fundamentals: OAuth2/OIDC, JWT is mandatory.
